About Bill . . .
I was first elected to the State House in 1996. During my years in the House and as a member of the Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee, I have established strong relationships throughout South Carolina and have a proven record as an active force in the legislative process. I pledge my continued efforts to provide progressive leadership in building a strong economy for our state.
As an Associate Professor of Business Administration for the University of South Carolina, I serve and contribute to the public education system in the Palmetto State. I teach in both the Walterboro and Allendale campuses of the USC-Salk branch.
I stay active in the community by serving on the board of Friends of Colleton Co. Library and the Colleton County Historical Society. I am also a member of the SC Arts Caucus.
